May 2015 Petit Vour Unboxing
Petit Vour time friends. This is a vegan friendly beauty subscription box that costs $15 a month. It typically comes with four products…some sample and some full sized. Let’s open that pretty pink box up to see what’s inside, shall we?
This is called Lippy Girl Vegocentric Organic Lipstick. What’s super cool about this lipstick is that it’s handmade with all natural products. Sorry I didn’t put the color of lipstick in this photo. I guess I got in too big of a hurry. However, you can see the color and a swatch in my youtube video. the color is called Surf Betty. It’s a very nude beige, almost matches my skin tone exactly. I do not have this shade in my collection, so I’m looking forward to experimenting with it. This is a full sized product and it’s value is $23!
Second in the box is Zabana Essentials dry glow shampoo. I love me some dry shampoo. I can not shampoo my hair everyday, so dry shampoo is my “go to” champion. While it never feels as good as the real thing…dry shampoo does help to make your hair smell great and style better. This stuff is 100% natural and made in small batches, according to the Petit Vour info card. Along with being oil-absorbing, it’s also supposed to be volumizing and adds natural plumpness to strands. I say bring it on baby! The value of this product is $9.
So this is a pretty unique product…a sugary, shimmery scrub! What, what! It’s called NYL shimmer scrub. Of course, it’s organic and also handmade. The products claims are to be gently exfoliating and deeply moisturizing…leaving skin silky smooth and shimmering. It is also supposed to give “dull” skin a more luminous, dewy glow. I can not wait to try this puppy out and let you know what I think. The value of this two ounce sample is $11.
Last in the box is Mun No. II Anarose Toner. This is a very small sample, so I was a bit disappointed with that. However, I’m stoked to get a toner in a sub box, as that is not a common item you see in monthly subscriptions. You use this product before your moisturizer and it’s supposed to be softening and soothing for dry/stressed skin. This packet is valued at $2.
I’m giving this box a FOUR OUT OF FIVE STARS. It would’ve been a five if the toner was a bigger sample or if they had five products, instead of just four. $15 isn’t bad for an all natural, vegan box though and this month I LOVED everything inside…which doesn’t happen usually for me as I’ve become very picky during my past two years of receiving subscription boxes. But the past two Petit Vour boxes I’ve received, I have been pretty happy with and I definitely like the uniqueness of their product choices. Again, I paid $15 for this box and it’s value is $45. What do you think of this box? Have you discovered any great, vegan friendly products through Petit Vour? Let me know your thoughts, I would love to hear them!
