Petit Vour April 2015 Unboxing
Hope you all are doing fabulous today. I am super excited to tell you about a couple of all natural, “vegan friendly” boxes I just started receiving. In this post, I am unboxing Petit Vour April 2015. It is a “vegan friendly”, all natural, beauty box and it costs $15 a month. Behind the Box pays for this box and this month it came with a couple of samples and two full sized products.
It is delivered to you in a bright pink box with the words Be Bold, Be Kind. Inside there’s some paper padding and then the products are on top. It’s very cute! So, let’s take a look at what products I got for April!
I have so many sunscreen products already, so I was a little bummed to see another one. But again, the whole idea of this box for me is to try different “vegan friendly” products. So this is called suntegrity. It’s a natural moisturizing face sunscreen. It is in a very small container, but I think there’s enough here to let you know if you would like to buy it in the full size. There is also a nice information card in the box that explains the brand and the various types of products they sell. It appears this sunscreen is tinted and can act as a BB cream too, so I’m down with that. The woman who created this brand says she did it in memory of her mom who lost her life to skin cancer. I think it’s great that she’s honoring her mother and raising awareness at the same time. And again, all these products are “vegan friendly” so no animals were tested and the ingredients are all natural. I am valuing this at $4. I will test out the product and let you know what I think of it in a later review.
This nail polish formula is great and it’s such a gorgeous color that would be perfect for spring or summer. It’s called Lauren B Nail Polish and it comes in a full size. Mine is in the color #ImSoLA. According to the information card, this polish is featured on Project Runway All Stars. This polish is made in the USA and it’s cruelty free! It’s valued at $18.
I am the most excited about this product! It’s the Konjac Sponge. It’s a plant that’s native to Asia and can be found growing at high altitudes. The facial sponge is supposed to deep cleanse, remove blackheads and gently exfoliate the skin. It also promotes skin cell removal. I use a Clarasonic facial cleansing brush a couple times a week and I think this sponge will be a nice alternative to that. I can’t wait to try it! On Amazon, a majority of people reviewing the product gave it five out of five stars. Women are saying their skin feels smoother and that it exfoliates without being too abrasive. Of the one or two negative reviews I read on this product, people say they didn’t notice any difference at all after using it. This product is valued at $12.
The last item in the box is Box Naturals towelettes. These can remove makeup, clean hands, or according to the card, help you freshen up “down there”. I will use my two samples as makeup removers because, as I have mentioned before, I’m still on the hunt for the perfect makeup removing towelette. This product is scented. I received two of them in the scents of Lavender and Rosewater. I’ve heard great things about this all natural company and I am looking forward to trying these towelettes and giving you guys a review. I’m valuing the two in my box at $1.
SUMMARY — I will give the April 2015 Petit Vour a FOUR out of FIVE STARS. I am excited to try some new, natural brands and I’m the most anxious to test out the sponge and the towelettes. The only disappointment for me was how small the sample sizes are. For example the sunscreen and towelettes. And, most boxes give you five samples, in this one, you only got four. The price of the box was $15 and I value the contents inside at $35. I feel like I will use everything inside my box so this is a good value for me. Let me know what you think of Petit Vour!
