March 2015 Wantable Intimates Unboxing
Wantable Intimates is a monthly subscription box which includes intimate items based on your personal preference. You can choose from loungewear, leggings, socks, tights/hosiery, panties, lingerie, shapewear and bras. These are placed in three categories of Love, Like or Dislike. You will never get items you put in your Dislike section. This box is $40 a month and behindtheboxblog.com pays for this subscription. Let’s open it up and see what’s inside.
The items come in a small, usually pretty heavy white box with a black W on the front. On the inside there’s usually some cute welcome phrase such as “Nice to see you again beautiful.” There’s also a card detailing what’s in the box and the price of each item. Wantable Intimates says subscribers get between 3-4 items inside, but I have only ever received three items in my box. I’ve been a subscriber for three months.
These socks are my favorite item in the box. I am in love with socks. I really like the colors and designs on these pair of long socks. They are from the brand Happy Socks, which is fitting because they do make me happy! The value of these socks is $12.
This is the Pajama Drama tank. I also really like this tank top. It is grey and white striped with lace trim around the shoulders. It’s described as a double scoop neck line with lace trim. I would wear this with yoga pants or even pajama pants. It costs $21.
And here’s the third item. It’s a Pajama Drama Notched Collar Nightshirt. This is my least favorite item in the box. I like the pink and purple colors, but wasn’t excited at all about the design. It is a long sleeved, button-down nightshirt with a small pocket on one side. I love pajamas and would definitely wear this too bed, so it’s not a complete loss for me. The value is estimated at $28.
CONCLUSION — THREE OUT OF FIVE STARS
I have not been a huge fan of this box in the past three months I’ve been subscribing to it and will likely cancel it in the next month. I feel like if you pay $40 for a subscription box, you should really feel “wowed” when you get the box and I don’t. I feel like if maybe they added one more item it would feel more valuable to me, but right now I don’t think it’s worth $40 a month. Also, many of the items they list for super high prices on the card, can be found for much cheaper on the internet. I really want to love Wantable Intimates, but the value just isn’t there for me. I paid $40 for this box and the collection is worth $61. Wantable also has makeup, jewelry and fitness subscription boxes. Maybe I’ll try one of those instead.
